Well where do I start. From the first enquiry to the viewing to the present day, Paul, Victoria, and ALL the office... staff have been very amiable. Yes we had a few tiny teething problems but nothing was the fault of the letting agents, and all faults were speedily dealt with. Any questions we asked was answered honestly and promptly. The staff are very friendly and helpful and our dealings with Paul have always had a good and positive response. In all honesty this is one of the best lettings company in the area.read more

Acquisition of Hall Gate Estates

Property Management Firm Continues Growth with Buyout Deal
Property professionals Craven Wildsmith have expanded its business with the recent acquisition of Hall Gate Estates’ residential letting and management portfolio. The company acquired the additional properties after Hall Gate Estates finally stopped trading following six years in the property market.
In recent times it has become increasingly difficult for residential property management businesses to succeed in the UK.

New and ever-changing legislation for residential letting, such as changes to Deposit Protection and the Deregulation Act, have made it an arduous task for property managers and landlords to keep on top of changes to legislation.

Paul Wildsmith, residential property management specialist of 23 years, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for us to service more landlords and investors in the local area and increase employment opportunities with us as we continue to grow.
“We’re sorry to see Hall Gate Estates close, but we’re pleased to be able provide a continuous service for the new clients we have acquired.”

Paul added, “Our expertise and understanding of the legal requirements is something that helps us adapt to the new changes and protect our clients’ assets in Doncaster.

Craven Wildsmith were established in 2009 following the Partners selling another local property management and chartered surveying company.

Paul Wildsmith and Chartered Surveyor Neal Craven open the doors at Craven Wildsmith Property Professionals to offer a full range of property management and professional services for both residential and commercial properties.

Since then they have continued to add to their portfolio for both sides of the business.

Their recent growth has given them employment opportunities as they look to add to their team of five and move to bigger offices in Doncaster.

Malcolm Foy, former Director of Hall Gate Estates said, “We were sorry to finally say goodbye to the business but we are relieved to know our clients will continue to be taken care of properly.

“The transition between Hall Gate Estates and Craven Wildsmith for our landlords was seamless and a lot of care was taken to make sure our clients were given excellent service.”

Craven Wildsmith have been in recent negotiations to acquire a further local business and would welcome the opportunity to discuss purchasing other portfolios as they continue their planned business expansion in the local area.

Paul concluded, “We’ve had a long-standing relationship with Hall Gate Estates, and we wish Malcolm and the people from Hall Gate Estates well in the future.”
